Avoid<strong>in</strong>g collisions with chord f<strong>in</strong>ger<strong>in</strong>gs<br />

F<strong>in</strong>ger<strong>in</strong>gs and str<strong>in</strong>g numbers applied to <strong>in</strong>dividual notes will automatically avoid beams and<br />

stems, but this is not true by default for f<strong>in</strong>ger<strong>in</strong>gs and str<strong>in</strong>g numbers applied to the <strong>in</strong>dividual<br />

notes of chords. The follow<strong>in</strong>g example shows how this default behavior can be overridden.<br />

\relative c' {<br />

\set f<strong>in</strong>ger<strong>in</strong>gOrientations = #'(up)<br />

\set str<strong>in</strong>gNumberOrientations = #'(up)<br />

\set strokeF<strong>in</strong>gerOrientations = #'(up)<br />

}<br />
