It is expected to be completed some time in the first half of 2007. The objectives were to increase productivity, efficiency and effectiveness within the Secretariat office as well as to increase the level of service to members. Event Management Booking of Events via Internet Viewing of Calendar of Events via Internet Facility Management Booking of Facilities via Internet Food & Beverage (F&B) F&B Point of Sale (POS) Human Resource / Payroll Modules: Implementation in Progress Touch screen Ability to handle magnetic swipe cards Kitchen printers Ease of use Restricted access rights Alert tool Query tool Time Management System and Time Attendance Devices linking all Guild Houses Automated overtime calculations Leave management and electronic leave application Modules Key Features/Processes Operations Banquet Equipment Management Multi-Location Booking Electronic Quotation and Event Order Monitoring of warranty expiry Monitoring of equipment servicing schedule Feedback Electronic monitoring of feedback Finance Purchasing F&B Cost Control Inventory Electronic Requisition/Market List Electronic Purchase Order Recipe Costing Automated Cost Reports and real-time reporting Linked to F&B POS Efficient Stock Take Electronic receipt, issues and transfers of inventory Tracking of consumption and generation of stock replenishment report Moving forward, the system will be capable of handling the expected increase in membership, events and activities in the foreseeable future. Benefits To Members With the implementation of the Information Management System, members are now able to: • View Statement of Accounts via Internet • View details of bills charged at F&B outlets • Update particulars via Internet • Book Events via Internet • Book Facilities via Internet <strong>NUSS</strong> Website Revamp Work on revamping the <strong>NUSS</strong> website commenced in late 2006 and is expected to be completed in 2007. The revamp involves a new design layout as well as a Content Management System to facilitate the updating of web information in a timely and efficient manner. The Sub-Committee, together with the Secretariat staff, will continue to enhance the website with more functions and capabilities to serve our members better. PG nuss annual report 2006
