<strong>Access</strong> <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Server</strong> Release 4.2, hereafter referred to as ACS.<br />

Caution Settings at the user level override settings that you configured at the group level.<br />

Be<strong>for</strong>e you configure <strong>User</strong> Setup, you should understand how this section functions. ACS dynamically<br />

builds the <strong>User</strong> Setup section interface depending on the configuration of your Authentication,<br />

Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) client and the security protocols that you use. That is, what you<br />

see under <strong>User</strong> Setup is affected by settings in the Network Configuration and Interface Configuration<br />

sections.<br />

About <strong>User</strong> Setup Features and Functions<br />

The <strong>User</strong> Setup section of the ACS web interface is the centralized location <strong>for</strong> all operations regarding<br />

user account configuration and administration.<br />

From within the <strong>User</strong> Setup section, you can:<br />

View a list of all users in the ACS internal database.<br />

Find a user.<br />

Add a user.<br />

Assign the user to a group, including Voice-over-IP (VoIP) groups.<br />

Edit user account in<strong>for</strong>mation.<br />

Establish or change user authentication type.<br />

Configure callback in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>for</strong> the user.<br />

Set network-access restrictions (NARs) <strong>for</strong> the user.<br />
