Configuring ACS Logs<br />

Note Be<strong>for</strong>e configuring the Remote Logging feature on each ACS server that will send data to the remote<br />

logging server, ensure that you have configured your remote logging ACS server. For more in<strong>for</strong>mation,<br />

see Configuring the Remote Logging <strong>Server</strong>, page 10-26.<br />

On each ACS that will send data to the remote logging server:<br />

Step 1 Add the remote logging server to the AAA <strong>Server</strong>s table. For more in<strong>for</strong>mation, see Configuring AAA<br />

<strong>Server</strong>s, page 3-15. If you have created multiple remote logging servers, repeat this step <strong>for</strong> each remote<br />

logging server.<br />

Step 2 In the navigation bar, click System Configuration.<br />

Step 3 Click Logging.<br />

The Logging Configuration page appears.<br />

Step 4 Click Remote Logging <strong>Server</strong>s Configuration.<br />

The Remote Logging Setup page appears.<br />

Step 5 Set the applicable Remote Logging Services Configuration options. For in<strong>for</strong>mation about these options,<br />

see Remote Logging Setup Page, page 10-39.<br />

Step 6 Click Submit.<br />

ACS saves and implements the remote logging configuration that you specified.<br />

Configuring Logging to Remote Agents (ACS SE only)<br />

You can configure remote logging of AAA-related logs and audit logs to installed ACS remote agents.<br />

For more in<strong>for</strong>mation about installing and configuring an ACS Remote Agent, see Installation and<br />

Configuration <strong>Guide</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>Secure</strong> ACS Remote Agents Release 4.2.<br />

The following steps are required to set up remote logging:<br />

1. On each ACS SE, add the remote agent. For more in<strong>for</strong>mation, see Configuring Remote Agents<br />

(ACS SE Only), page 3-19.<br />

2. Configure each ACS SE to send logs to the remote agent. For more in<strong>for</strong>mation, see Configuring<br />

ACS SE to Send Data to the Remote Agent, page 10-28.<br />

3. On the ACS SE that the remote agent is configured to use as its configuration provider, configure<br />

log content and log-file management <strong>for</strong> all logs recorded on the remote agent. For more<br />

in<strong>for</strong>mation, see Configuring Remote Agent Logs on the Configuration Provider, page 10-28.<br />
