Horne of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers is tipped in. The Diamond Jubilee marked the 75th anniversary of the arrival of Mormon pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley in 1847. Hotel Utah Coffee Shop and Empire Room Menus. Salt Lake City: Hotel Utah, 1945, 1946. Folded cardstock. In very good condition. Five menus from Hotel Utah eateries; four from the Hotel Utah Coffee Shop, and one from the Hotel's elegant Empire Room. Each menu has a printed date, from November 24, 1945 to September 20, 1946. The Coffee Shop menus have a colored photo on the front of scenic Utah. The Empire Room menu is a single sheet, printed on one side only and decorated in red and white. All have slight shelf wear and bumping at extremities, otherwise clean and bright. Culinary nostalgia from this grand Salt Lake City hotel. Five menus sold as a set. RHOT00jn $40 23
