rubbed edges. Rebacked with original backstrip overlaid. The ends of backstrip are lightly chipped and the spine is
slightly rolled. There are a few small spots on covers. Endsheets are split at hinges, but the hinges are still very sound.
Pages are uniformly foxed and spotted. Considered one of the best narratives of early American western exploration.

at page 282. Dust jacket is good but rubbed and chipped at edges with several small tears. Front flap is price clipped.
