petitioner was the wife of Joseph Smith, deceased, and claims that she was<br />
entitled to dower in certain property, now owned by the United States, and<br />
submits the decree in the court in Illinois in her favor. A very uncommon<br />

elaborate blind and gilt patterns on covers. In very good condition.<br />
Professionally rebacked with gilt lettering. The covers are moderately soiled.<br />
Text block has been reset with reinforced hinges into casing. Rubbed corners<br />
have been rebuilt and toned to match. A few small marginal tears in engraved<br />
title page have been skillfully repaired. More than 60 engravings in very good<br />
