of specific clinical syndromes with r e s ult s of other studies.
The overall prevalence rate of a l l puerperal psychiatric
disorders in thi s s tudy is 10 . 4 per 1000 deliveries . Th e

possible rates of occurrence of the early postpartum
psychiatric disorders and hopefully may stimulate interest for
