by him in his team's losses to Towson, Loyola,
and Western Maryland. In the final match of
the season, he was held to a draw by his
Gallaudet opponent as the University team
dropped its fourth straight match. Seeded No.
2 in the Conference Championships, Hladik
lost his first match of the season in the finals
of the 14S-pound class by a referee's decision.
While not approaching their captain's records,
others on the squad made good showings.

Two of the mainstays on the wrestling squad were Gene Silberman and Captain Howard Hladik
Marv Lippman, Don Rhody, Gene Silberman,

future development. Heavyweight Leon Goldberg,

good start before suffering an injury. A transfer
