this volume will preserve.
We have departed from the conventional
yearbook styling of categorization in an attempt
to compile a chronology of student life
at the University of Baltimore as we knew itand
made it. Our emphasis has been mainly
upon the interests and activities of the students
themselves and, through this, we hope we have
presented a comprehensive picture of the life
at the University of Baltimore. A yearbook is
the accurate history of the yearly activities
of the student body, and the history compiled

make as accurate as possible.
The success of our book cannot be judged by
the work of anyone person or any group of
persons, but by the entire student body and the
graduating class of 1949; and it is to these
groups this book is submitted for judgment.
