IT has been the desire of the staff to
give the student body a REPORTER that will
serve to recall and review many friendships,
activities, social affairs, and a particular college
year that will not be erased from our
memories. From a somewhat late start in
February to the roaring of the presses in May,
there has not been a dull moment for anyone
concerned.
It cannot be said that the 1949 REPORTER
staff adhered strictly to a table of organization.
Each member has labored long and hard, completely
disregarding functional demarcation
lines and with the interest of the University
his dominant motivating drive. Each had a
specific job to do, that is true, but in addition
to that job each member spent many long
hours laboring over details and contributing to
hundreds of decisions that had to be made.
The entire staff has been guided by the desire
for a publication representative of the student
life at the University.
