Under his administration, this young and vigorous institution has grown in physical size, in educational importance, in larger influence, as forerunners of wider horizons in the years ahead.

As a result of the growth of the University, however, I now know only a small number in each class. I regret this. I trust that you will help me overcome this handicap by making yourself known to me whenever you see me. What you accomplish in your chosen lifework will be due partly to yourself and partly to your Alma Mater. Throughout life the two will be inextricably joined. Whatever happens to you will reflect on your Alma Mater. Whatever happens to the University will reflect on you. The best way to make sure that your welfare is protected is to make sure that your Alma Mater's welfare is protected. Keep in touch with the University and let us keep in touch with you.
