" N IGHT Must Fall," the play which
climaxed the season of the University Players,
was advertised in such an unusual manner that
Cadoa Hall was packed on the night of production.
The melodramatic interpretation revealed
in this unusual plot clearly designated
this playas the most significant contribution
on the records of the University's club of
drama.
In contrast to the first production, the comicladen,
" You Can't Take It With You, " the
second production was a psychological thriller
- the study of a cold-blooded murder whose
deliberate and incredibly arrogant machinations
proved thrilling behind the footlights- a
gripping drama written with unusual originality
and vividness.
In the plans for next season, the University
Players intend to continue staging professional
productions with a tinge of'the Broadway
glamour panorama. As the year draws to a
close, the Grecian Goddess of the theatre
smiles benevolently upon her understudies, the
University Players.
