FOR those students who do not seek
business as their major field of endeavor, the
University offers courses in Pre-Law, General
Education, and, in conjunction with The
Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Medical Secretarial
Course. Basically Liberal Arts in nature,
the degree of Associate in Arts (A.A.) is conferred
upon graduates of the Junior College.
The degree may be used as Pre-Law credit
required to enter the School of Law and many
of the graduates apply their credit toward
continuing Liberal Arts courses at other colleges
and universities.
The Junior College of The University of
Baltimore is recognized by both the Association
of Maryland Junior Colleges and the
American Association of Junior Colleges.
