Policies, Procedures And Regulations Faculty Complaints Against Students
Identification Cards POLICIES, PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS Photo ID cards are required for all personnel officially connected with the College. Photo ID cards are issued to faculty on request and are prepared in Room 1508 during designated days and times. The Security Director supervises the issuance of ID cards. Faculty photo ID cards are valid until one leaves employment at the College. The ID card is used at the College for recognition as a faculty member, for security service; to receive paychecks, and to insure certain other faculty privileges. Syllabi, Course Outlines, Exercises and Examinations Every course must have a current syllabus and a course outline for distribution to students. File copies must be kept in the department files. Copies of assignments, exercises, quizzes, examinations, criteria for grade determination and similar documents must also be kept on file. (See Appendices) Textbooks Department/Faculty members are responsible for the recommendation to the Chairperson of textbooks for courses within their approved teaching disciplines. Committees of multi-section courses are responsible for deciding on texts to be used in all sections of such course. Textbook orders are prepared at the instructional level, coordinated by the Chairpersons, and submitted to the Dean's Office, who distributes the final order to interested bookstores. Students are responsible for the purchases of their textbooks. Adjunct faculty must use the textbooks approved by the Department for the course(s) being taught. The Department Chairperson must
