Members met at Ivadean Bryant’s parking lot to carpool to <strong>Wayne</strong>sboro, TN where they met at Bradley’s to have lunch. Afterward the meeting was held. President Lori Wallace called the meeting to order by reading the thought for the month. Members stood and pledged the Flag and read the FCE pledge. Old and new business was discussed and donation of $50.00 was given to the Any Time Santa Fund for the foster children’s Christmas in <strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>County</strong>. Shirley reported that she had taken a donation of coffee, creamer, cups, and tissue to the Welcome Center. It was decided to have their meeting a week early due to the Christmas holidays so they will be meeting at MeMe’s Café at Collinwood on Tuesday, December 13 at 10 A.M. Everyone is asked to bring a small gift to exchange. Jeanette Staggs gave the project leader’s report on “Sleep.” Lori read the household hint and the meeting was adjourned. In the afternoon a party plate was taken to the residents of <strong>Wayne</strong> Care Nursing Home. In attendance were Regent Sandy Martin, Chaplain Dean Stegall, Frances Rains, Misha Johannes, Shirley Curry and guest Melissa Ayers. The group enjoyed a delicious meal of white beans, cornbread, slaw, country ham, beet pickles, pumpkin pie and cookies prior to the meeting. Regent Martin called the meeting to order at approximately 5:15 P.M. Regent Martin led the group in the ritual and Chaplain Stegall led the devotional. The President General’s message was read by Sandy Martin and the National Defense report was given by Frances Rains. The treasurer’s report was given by Frances Rains – currently there is $191.72 in the bank. Minutes of the October meeting were read by Misha Johannes and were approved as read. There was no correspondence during the month. Reports were given by Misha Johannes on “Conservation” and Frances Rains on the “American Flag.” Dean Stegall gave a report on “Women’s Issues.” Old business – Frances Rains will locate the address to send in the state dues. New business – The Christmas meeting will be held on Saturday, December 17 th at the home of Dean Stegall at 12 P.M. Sandy Martin gave the program on Ann Hand. Her signature pin is The Liberty Eagle.
