Club Meets<br />
Regular meeting of<br />
the Crossroads, Family,<br />
Community, and<br />
Educational Club was<br />
held on November 15.<br />
Members met at<br />
Ivadean Bryant’s<br />
parking lot to carpool to<br />
<strong>Wayne</strong>sboro, TN where<br />
they met at Bradley’s to<br />
have lunch. Afterward<br />
the meeting was held.<br />
President Lori Wallace<br />
called the meeting to<br />
order by reading the<br />
thought for the month.<br />
Members stood and<br />
pledged the Flag and<br />
read the FCE pledge.<br />
Linda Spangler gave the<br />
devotional reading from<br />
Proverbs 3-2-5. The<br />
group prayed the Lord’s<br />

holiday foods. Minutes<br />
of the last meeting were<br />
read by Shirley Bailey.<br />
Old and new business<br />
was discussed and<br />
donation of $50.00 was<br />
given to the Any Time<br />
Santa Fund for the foster<br />
children’s Christmas in<br />
<strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>County</strong>. Shirley<br />
reported that she had<br />
taken a donation of coffee,<br />
creamer, cups, and tissue<br />
to the Welcome Center. It<br />
was decided to have their<br />
meeting a week early due<br />
to the Christmas holidays<br />
so they will be meeting<br />
at MeMe’s Café at<br />
Collinwood on Tuesday,<br />
December 13 at 10 A.M.<br />
Everyone is asked<br />
to bring a small gift to<br />
exchange.<br />
Jeanette Staggs gave<br />
the project leader’s report<br />
on “Sleep.” Lori read the<br />
household hint and the<br />
meeting was adjourned.<br />
In the afternoon a party<br />
plate was taken to the<br />
residents of <strong>Wayne</strong> Care<br />
Nursing Home.<br />

Council and Special<br />
Interest Program will be<br />
at the Extension Offi ce<br />
on December 7, bring<br />

American Revolution met<br />
on Monday November<br />
28, 2011, at 4:30 P.M. at<br />
the <strong>Wayne</strong>sboro church<br />
of Christ Fellowship<br />
Center.<br />
In attendance were<br />
Regent Sandy Martin,<br />
Chaplain Dean Stegall,<br />
Frances Rains, Misha<br />
Johannes, Shirley Curry<br />
and guest Melissa Ayers.<br />
The group enjoyed a<br />
delicious meal of white<br />
beans, cornbread, slaw,<br />
country ham, beet pickles,<br />
pumpkin pie and cookies<br />
prior to the meeting.<br />
Regent Martin called<br />
the meeting to order at<br />
approximately 5:15 P.M.<br />
Regent Martin led the<br />
group in the ritual and<br />
Chaplain Stegall led the<br />
devotional. The President<br />
General’s message was<br />
read by Sandy Martin<br />
and the National Defense<br />
report was given by<br />
Frances Rains. The<br />
treasurer’s report was<br />
given by Frances Rains –<br />
currently there is $191.72<br />
in the bank. Minutes of<br />
the October meeting were<br />
read by Misha Johannes<br />
and were approved<br />
as read. There was no<br />
correspondence during<br />
the month. Reports were<br />
given by Misha Johannes<br />
on “Conservation” and<br />
Frances Rains on the<br />
“American Flag.” Dean<br />
Stegall gave a report on<br />
“Women’s Issues.”<br />
Old business – Frances<br />
Rains will locate the<br />
address to send in the<br />
state dues.<br />
New business – The<br />
Christmas meeting will<br />
be held on Saturday,<br />
December 17 th at the<br />
home of Dean Stegall at<br />
12 P.M.<br />
