cookbook, “A Cook’s Tour <strong>of</strong> <strong>Libertyville</strong>” published in 1993,<br />
the book features historical information on the town, old<br />
photographs, helpful hints from cooks <strong>of</strong> yesteryear, kitchen tips<br />
for contemporary cooks, a guide on how to combine wine and<br />
food, and over 550 fabulous recipes submitted by local cooks on<br />
the way we cook today.<br />
A special section contains complete gourmet menus with<br />
recipes from appetizers through desserts. From a Louisiana<br />
Buffet to a Christmas Brunch to an Autumn dinner, it’s all there.<br />
As an added treat, various local restaurants generously shared<br />
some <strong>of</strong> their favorite recipes.<br />
Cookbooks may be purchased for $25.00 at the <strong>MainStreet</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong>fice at 133 E. Cook Avenue and the following downtown<br />
stores: Arden’s Furniture, Beyond the Garden Gate, Parkview<br />
