The concept of a college classroom has begun to change with the advent of internet. Computers are<br />

becoming an integral part of the life and education and virtual classrooms are fast becoming a reality.<br />

Educators all over the world and in India, especially, are being challenged to rethink and revise their<br />

approaches and goals in teaching. In India, teachers and course designers need become aware of the<br />

available programmes and find ways of integrating them in their regular courses. A selective list of<br />

interesting sites is provided in the paper.The MA (English Language Teaching, ELT) Course offered<br />

by H.M. Patel Institute of English Training and Research, they make use of some of the materials<br />

available on the internet, though the institute is yet to obtain the internet connection. The paper<br />

concludes with a report of the materials available at the Self Access Centre of the Institute.<br />
