Papirmuseets By A/S is an 800 m 2 large shop,
set up like a town with streets, a café and a
Paper museum. Time flies when visiting the
Paper museum’s Town, and you will get loads
of ideas for making cards, quilling, box-
making and ideas for parties.
Go on a genuine treasure hunt
(for children between 5 and 8)
According to legend, Pirate Alf lived in the
Gråsten Forests. He left behind a treasure
that many people have searched for without
success. Many places in the forest are named
after him: Alf’s Spring, Alf’s Cave and Alf’s
Grave.
We follow in Alf’s footsteps, hunting for his
treasure.
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides
Take a lovely horse-drawn wagon ride in the
Gråsten Forests. Enjoy nature and birdsong on
the way to idyllic Margrethe Lake.
Children 0-9 years: DKK 25.
Adults: DKK 50.
Guided town walk through Sønderborg
Get an insight into the history of Sønderborg,
its architecture and development.
The guide will take you on a walk through the
old town past St Maria’s Church to ’Jomfrustien’,
where all the houses are in Art Nouveau
style from the time of the emperor.
The walk then goes back to the town hall, past
the castle, the castle mill and the vicarage.
Duration: 1 1/2 hrs.
You will be in a ‘Christmas mood’ throughout
the year on the Julevejen (X-mas road) where
you can join the fun at the ‘learning tables’
and get a little help for free.

The treasure hunt is on every Thursday
3 pm - 4.30 pm in the weeks 26-32 and in

are free).

Start: 4 pm and every half hour thereafter as
