Guided tours of Gråsten Palace Garden<br />

and Palace Church<br />

We visit the lavishly adorned Palace Church<br />

and walk through the palace garden, that lies<br />

beautifully surrounded by lakes and forests.<br />

The competent guides will tell you the story<br />

of the church, the garden and the castles<br />

located here since the 1500s.<br />

Guided town walk through Gråsten<br />

Follow the guide on a fascinating walk<br />

through the streets near the Palace. See and<br />

hear the history of Gråsten. The walk ends at<br />

11.30 at the Mansion on Ahlmannsvej, where<br />

the Royal Guard departs.<br />

It is possible to follow the parade through<br />

town to the palace yard, where the changing<br />

of the guard takes place. Afterwards, you can<br />

enjoy a small concert in the palace yard.<br />

Guided town walk through Nordborg<br />

A classic town walk through the old town.<br />

We start at Nordborg Castle and walk past the<br />

old houses in town to the church, where the<br />

ducal family is buried.<br />

The tour ends with a visit to the Local History<br />

Archives.<br />

Go on a guided tour of Augustenborg Palace<br />

and listen to the story of the Ducal Family<br />

while you visit the dukes’ private dining hall,<br />

the garden hall and the study, among other<br />

places.<br />

We see the corridor exhibition with its various<br />

showcases and artefacts from ducal times, the<br />

mini museum with its exhibition about the<br />

Ducal Family and the lavishly adorned Palace<br />

Church that was built so that the ladies could<br />

move around in their large dresses.
