Guided tours of Gråsten Palace Garden
and Palace Church
We visit the lavishly adorned Palace Church
and walk through the palace garden, that lies
beautifully surrounded by lakes and forests.
The competent guides will tell you the story
of the church, the garden and the castles
located here since the 1500s.
Adults DKK 50, Children (0-12) free
Guided town walk through Gråsten
Follow the guide on a fascinating walk
through the streets near the Palace. See and
hear the history of Gråsten. The walk ends at
11.30 at the Mansion on Ahlmannsvej, where
the Royal Guard departs.
It is possible to follow the parade through
town to the palace yard, where the changing
of the guard takes place. Afterwards, you can
enjoy a small concert in the palace yard.
Guided town walk through Nordborg
A classic town walk through the old town.
We start at Nordborg Castle and walk past the
old houses in town to the church, where the
ducal family is buried.
The tour ends with a visit to the Local History
Archives.

resides at Gråsten Palace, and access to the

Go on a guided tour of Augustenborg Palace
and listen to the story of the Ducal Family
while you visit the dukes’ private dining hall,
the garden hall and the study, among other
places.
We see the corridor exhibition with its various
showcases and artefacts from ducal times, the
mini museum with its exhibition about the
Ducal Family and the lavishly adorned Palace
Church that was built so that the ladies could
move around in their large dresses.
