limestone as <strong>the</strong> bed material helps remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from <strong>the</strong> flue gas.<br />

Despite <strong>the</strong>se advantages, sales <strong>of</strong> FBCs are a small fraction <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> boiler market.<br />
