PE 4658 VENTILATION SYSTEM UPGRADE, RID<br />
This project is for replacement of the damaged<br />
ventilation units at the 47th Street location. It also<br />
involves building access, platforms, and stairways in<br />
order to readily maintain existing HVAC equipment.<br />
PE 4659 SIGNAL BATTERY REPLACEMENT, MET<br />
This project consists of the replacement of signal<br />
batteries that have reached the end of their useful<br />
life. They can no longer provide the backup power for<br />
signals required during commercial power failures.<br />
These new batteries will mitigate service disruptions<br />
due to commercial power failures.<br />
PE 4662 CONSTANT WARNING TIME DEVICES, UPR<br />
This project will install Constant Warning Time<br />
Devices for the crossing at Nagle Avenue on the<br />
UPR, along with a number of adjacent crossings.<br />
This project is mandated by the ICC and the list of<br />
crossings for CWTDs has been developed by the ICC.<br />
The UPR, ICC, and IDOT will all be contributing to<br />
the project. Due to the nature of this work, multiple<br />
crossings will be implemented in overlapping phases.<br />

PE 4368 ACCOUNTING SYSTEM UPGRADES, MET<br />
This project will provide funding for <strong>Metra</strong> to<br />
implement additional phases of the Revenue<br />
Accounting System project and to incorporate<br />
any enhancements that are necessary after<br />
implementation. This project will provide<br />
additional funding for its conductor-handheld<br />
pilot project. Any projects that are required to<br />
coordinate with RTA Universal Fare initiatives will<br />
also be funded from this project. This project will<br />
provide funding for <strong>Metra</strong> to scope and prepare an<br />
RFP for replacement of its current nancial systems.<br />
PE 4665 EQUIPMENT & VEHICLES – ENGINEERING,<br />
MET<br />
PE 4668 EQUIPMENT & VEHICLES – MECHANICAL,<br />
MET<br />
These projects provide for the purchase and<br />
rehabilitation of vehicles and equipment to be<br />
utilized by <strong>Metra</strong>’s Engineering and Mechanical<br />
Departments. The vehicles and equipment<br />
purchased will replace various pieces of obsolete<br />
or inadequate support vehicles and equipment<br />
used to help service and maintain <strong>Metra</strong>’s eet at<br />
the various yards. This includes but is not limited to:<br />
supervisory vehicles for supervision of eld work,<br />
small pickup trucks, various forklift trucks, and car<br />
movers. The existing equipment has surpassed its<br />
useful life.<br />
PE 4666 EQUIPMENT – OFFICE, MET<br />
This project involves the purchase of new<br />
and replacement support equipment for use<br />
throughout the <strong>Metra</strong> system. Obsolete support<br />
equipment needs to be replaced in order to<br />
increase productivity and e ciency and decrease<br />
repair costs. Such equipment can include: general<br />
o ce equipment, copiers, personal computers,<br />
servers, mainframe processors, peripheral<br />
equipment, printers, and network devices.<br />
PE 4669 FINANCIAL SYSTEMS REPLACEMENT, MET<br />
This project will provide funding for <strong>Metra</strong> to<br />
implement an Enterprise Resource Planning<br />
