2. Attendance at an official function, approved/recognized by school authorities,<br />
whether held on or off campus, in which case, the absence will<br />
not be reflected in the report card.<br />

For excused absence, the scholar is given a chance to make up for missed<br />
lessons and tests. However, this must be done within five (5) school days<br />
after his return to school; otherwise, he forfeits his right to make-up for<br />
lessons/exams missed.<br />

Fiction books – P1.00/day<br />
Fines are deducted from stipends.<br />
Unexcused Absence An absence is unexcused if a s<strong>tuden</strong>t fails to present<br />
to the Registrars Office a medical certificate or a letter from a parent or<br />
guardian, immediately upon reporting for school after an absence, coming<br />
in late or cutting a class.<br />
For purposes of computing deductions from ones stipends, a scholar is<br />
marked absent if:<br />
4. The PSHS Research Papers<br />
The PSHS research papers are for room use only. S<strong>tuden</strong>ts can browse<br />
through the research papers but these cannot be photocopied. OUTSIDERS<br />
ARE NOT ALLOWED access to these research papers.<br />

2. He has incurred three (3) unexcused tardiness.<br />

Any s<strong>tuden</strong>t caught mutilating (writing and tearing off pages of books or<br />
trying to bring out materials from the library without permission will be<br />
given appropriate sanctions.<br />

6. Miscellaneous<br />
Further, a s<strong>tuden</strong>t shall incur one unexcused absence for every five(5)<br />
absences during the flag ceremony.<br />
The number of times a s<strong>tuden</strong>t has incurred such absences shall be<br />
counted and reflected in his attendance record.<br />
For UNEXCUSED absences, the scholar is not entitled to make up for<br />
missed lessons and tests.<br />
• When inside the library, SILENCE SHOULD BE STRICTLY OBSERVED<br />
at all times.<br />
• Eating, drinking, smoking and use of mobile phones inside the library<br />
are strictly prohibited.<br />
• Chairs should be arranged before leaving.<br />

1. Stipend Deduction<br />
For every unexcused absence, a scholar incurs a stiped deduction and is<br />
determined as follows:<br />

No. of days in a month<br />
The school clinic is responsible for safe-guarding the health of the scholars<br />
and school personnel on campus. The clinic staff is composed of a physician,<br />
a nurse, a dentist and dental aide. At the start of the school year, the<br />
clinic conducts general physical and dental examinations for freshmen. Upper<br />
level scholars have their annual check-up before the end of the school<br />
year. In emergency cases, the scholars are accommodated at the nearby<br />
<strong>Philippine</strong> Childrens Medical Center.
