Using the Template Configuration Files<br />

You will find a number of template configuration files in the <strong>Polycom</strong> <strong>UC</strong> <strong>Software</strong> 4.0.1<br />

download. Most configuration parameters are located in only one template file; however, some<br />

do appear in two or more files. If you are using a parameter that is duplicated in another file, be<br />

aware that configuration files are read from left to right and the phone uses the file it reads first.<br />

Troubleshooting: Locating Duplicate Parameters<br />

To check whether a parameter is located in more than one template file, locate the<br />

parameter in the reference section Configuration Parameters.<br />
