Storm and Dexter join forces for
new performance & athletic line
Storm Products, Inc. and
Dexter Bowling have announced
an official partnership
to create a new line of licensed
Storm footwear. Under the
agreement, Dexter, makers of
the world’s #1 bowling shoe,
will design and
manufacture
a new line of
performance and
athletic footwear
for Storm;
the first-ever
footwear line for the
market-leading ball, bag, and
accessory maker. “We are
pleased to form this alliance
with Storm, one of the most respected
names in the world of
bowling,” said Bud Clapsaddle,
Vice President of Dexter Bowling.
“This partnership brings
together two of the foremost
brands in our sport today.
With Dexter’s industry-leading

Production on the new
footwear line is expected to be
available June/July 2012. This
new collection will be sold in
bowling pro shops through
Storm product representatives

Joliet tied for the top spot on
the honor roll last week at
Brunswick Westcreek Lanes as
both recorded hard-hitting 780
series. Fontenot, from the Classic
High Pot group, fired games of
227-277-276 while Joliet rolled an
award-winning 12-bagger in Beat
the House league action.

NABI of Dallas/Fort Worth
hosted the 3 “X” your out
format for the first time at
Forum Bowl May 20.
63 bowlers bowled one
game and the bottom half of
the field received and “X”. All
bowlers bowled the second
game and again, the bottom
half of the bowlers received an
“X” and so on. Once a bowler
received three “X”s, they were
knocked out of the tournament.
In the top eight finals, Kam
Mowstowfi held off the field
and the “X”s for 15 rounds
and collected $1,500 first place
prize money and a NABI title.
James Ross finished second
for $750 and only posted three
games under 200 for the 15
rounds of competition.
