• Required product support improvements at engine shop visit.
Technical Data
ESP® virtually eliminates the risk of high cost surprises and engine maintenance expenses become
much more predictable. Other advantages include transferability on resale to subsequent operators
and renewability at the end of the contract term. ESP® is applicable to operators with
helicopters.
ESP® now offers several plans to suit individual operator's requirements. Among them, the Gold Plan
offers the most comprehensive coverage, and includes:
• All required engine parts for the aforementioned engine events, including Life Limited Parts (disks,
rotors, impellers, etc.)
• Engine shop labor
• Rental engine at ESP® rates
• Troubleshooting labor allowance
• Removal and installation labour allowance for engines and line replaceable units/accessories
• Freight for engine and engine parts
7.5.1.2 Fleet Management Plan ®
The FMP TM was initiated to focus on maintenance cost management for fleets in excess of five aircraft.
Term Cost Plan (TCP TM )
The TCP is our customized "pay-by-the-hour" support plan that includes support services selected by
the operator from a comprehensive menu:
• Engine overhaul / major engine refurbishment
• Hot Section Inspection (HSI)
• Basic Unscheduled Removals (BUR)
• Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) component replacement
• Spare engines
• Accessory BUR coverage
Under the TCP TM , the operator pays a guaranteed hourly fee ($/EFH) on a monthly basis tailored to
his requirements. The TCP TM rate is based on:
• Operating environment
• Mission profile
• Maintenance program, such as Time Between Overhaul (TBO) and HSI intervals
• Engine model
• Number of engines/spares
• Times and cycles accumulated on engines
• Selected support services
• Maintenance and logistic activities covered by the agreed scope
• Length of plan
7.5.1.3 PW206B2 Mean Time between Overhaul (MTBO)
The PW206B2 engine can be overhauled as two (2) individual modules:
• Perform overhaul of the turbomachinery module every 3500 hours.
• Perform overhaul of the reduction gearbox module every 3500 hours.
Individual recommendations to extend the TBO to 4000 hours can be provided to operators who submit
a successful engine for TBO extension sampling. The full procedure is provided in the applicable engine
maintenance manual.
