The National Committee of the <strong>European</strong><br />

<strong>Youth</strong> <strong>Parliament</strong> in Norway<br />

The <strong>European</strong> <strong>Youth</strong> <strong>Parliament</strong> Norway was founded in 1995. It organises a 3<br />

days long national selection conference every September where 25 schools participate<br />

and we gather about 160 people.<br />

The Norwegian Committee reaches around 600 youngsters per year.<br />

Activities in <strong>2008</strong><br />

6th Norwegian National Session<br />

of EYP Norway, September 16 -<br />

Aims: spread the EYP spirit, promote<br />

mutual understanding, function as a<br />

platform for personal development, selecting<br />

delegations for the international<br />

sessions in Rennes and Stockholm,<br />

as well as a delegation for the Swedish<br />

Nationals in Malmö.<br />

(100 delegates, 25 teachers, 31 alumni<br />

officials and 4 national committee<br />
