The Macedonian Committee of the <strong>European</strong><br />

<strong>Youth</strong> <strong>Parliament</strong><br />

The Macedonian Committee of the <strong>European</strong> <strong>Youth</strong> <strong>Parliament</strong> is one of the<br />

newest members of the EYP. Created in 2004, it is developing increasingly<br />

and has already organised three national selection conferences. Together<br />

with the national committees in the neighbour countries, the Macedonian<br />

branch of the EYP plays a very important role in the development of civil<br />

society in South-Eastern Europe. EYP Macedonia has the patronage of:<br />

Ms.Gabriela Konevska Trajkovska, Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia (in<br />

charge for <strong>European</strong> Affairs) and HE Mr Erwan Fouéré, Special Representative<br />

of the <strong>European</strong> Union and Head of Delegation of the <strong>European</strong> Commission<br />

in Macedonia.<br />

The activities of the Committee reach around 420 young Macedonian yearly.<br />
