2. As a Salesian, Brother Henry spent his life following Jesus,
obedient, chaste and poor. He also followed Don Bosco's way of
cheerfulness, generosity and hard work. Count him among all
holy men and women who share eternal love and life with you.
All: Lord hear our prayer.
3. Comfort all who mourn Brother Henry's death with the hope and
promise of eternal life. We remember particularly his beloved
relatives in the Netherlands and the many friends with whom he
shared his love of life in Australia.

4. Lord, we pray for everyone in this church today. May we all find
consolation in the belief that death is not the end, but rather a new
beginning with our God.

5. Many relatives and friends have gone before us and await the
Kingdom of heaven. Grant them all an everlasting home with
your son.
All: Lord hear our prayer.
Priest: Lord, hear our prayers for our brother, Henry, and for all who
have gone before us in faith to eternal life. Free them from all
their sins and let them share in the fullness of salvation in
the kingdom where you are Lord for ever and ever.
