To ensure operating safety of luminaires they
should be protected against humidity and the
entering of solid bodies.
VDE 0710 shows Test and Classification marks,
DIN 40050 applies to Protection Type and IP
numbers.

approved for a max. ambient temperature of
Ta = 25° C unless they are marked otherwise.
This technical parameter must be taken into account

to be used for interior application.
