Soils: The soils of volcanic orig<strong>in</strong> are often sandy. Below the <strong>for</strong>est l<strong>in</strong>e of the<br />

non-volcanic parent material which are of moderate fertility.<br />

Soil erodibility is low and ra<strong>in</strong>fall erosivity is moderate.<br />
