Description<br />
The PNOZmulti Configurator is a<br />
graphic tool for the configuration and<br />
programming of the PNOZmulti modular<br />
safety system.<br />
The elements of the safety circuit are<br />
depicted as icons on the Configurator<br />
user interface.<br />
The safety circuit can be created<br />
quickly and easily using drag & drop.<br />
The PNOZmulti Configurator downloads<br />
the complete safety circuit to the<br />
modular PNOZmulti via a chip card or<br />
via the serial interface.<br />
The safety circuit can also be uploaded<br />
from the modular PNOZmulti to the<br />
PNOZmulti Configurator for revision.<br />
Safety functions that can be created<br />
using the PNOZmulti Configurator include,<br />
for example:<br />
E-STOP<br />
Two-hand button<br />
Enable switch<br />
Operating mode selector switch<br />
Press functions<br />
Light beam device<br />
Light grid<br />
Safety mat<br />
Speed monitoring<br />
Muting<br />
Users can configure fieldbus inputs<br />
and outputs in conjunction with the<br />
fieldbus <strong>modules</strong>. These inputs and<br />
outputs can only be used for standard<br />
functions.<br />
Virtual inputs and outputs can be configured<br />
via the serial interface. These<br />
inputs and outputs are treated in the<br />
same manner as fieldbus inputs and<br />
outputs.<br />
Inputs and outputs for standard functions<br />
are supported.<br />
The PNOZmulti Configurator contains<br />
a wide range of test and diagnostic<br />
options, such as:<br />
Dynamic program display<br />
Diagnostic word for evaluating the<br />
element status<br />
Display PNOZmulti error stack<br />
The project can be protected through<br />
passwords.<br />
