Appendix 3 RMP/RMQ relays The following diagrams are for definition of current and voltage modules in the above-mentioned power relays. The diagrams indicate the standard input power to which the relays can be customised. Before the diagrams are read, the P n must be corrected with current transformer ratio and maybe also with a voltage transformer ratio. Example: P N = 1 MW, current transformer 100/1A, voltage transformer 10000/100 V Input power = 1 MW divided by (CT ratio x VT ratio) = 100 W The calculated input power is indicated in the diagram corresponding to the required coupling (1W3). The diagram below shows possible couplings for the different types of relays. If the calculated input power is not mentioned in the diagram, the closest higher value is selected and the scaling is performed (see scaling).
