Greve has a lot in store for
the activity-seeking tourist:
eight kilometres of white sandy
beaches, exciting harbours
with an atmosphere of their
own, a modern museum of
cultural history, one of the
largest swim centres in Scandinavia,
Portalen, a much visited
culture and music house,
impressive green recreational
areas, charming villages and
excellent shopping facilities.
An extensive white sandy
beach stretches over eight
kilometres from the modern
Hundige Harbour, very popular
among yachtsmen, past
the charm ing fishing harbour
of Mosede to the Mosede
Fort area which was an important
part of Copenhagen's
fortifications 100 years ago.
Tourists will find accommodation
along the entire coast
road, e.g. at Hundige Strand
Familie Camping, and a number
of good restaurants and
other eating places will be
pleased to appease your hunger
in that vicinity if you do
not prefer your own picnic on
the beach or at Mosede Fort.

Should the weather be less
suitable for outdoor swimming,
pay a visit to newly
renovated Greve Svømmehal,
one of the largest swimming
baths in Scandinavia.

Behind the municipality’s residential
areas of single family
homes, you will find the
charm ing old villages of Greve,
