state over the proposed Dune
and Shorefronl Protection
Act, CLIC, the CilUena of
local Intelligent Control, Is
preparing to battle over the
Pinelands Art,
More thin 200 Dinnls
Township area residents
turned out Tuesday to voice
their displeasure with the
pinelands legislation and to
also hear that while the dune
proposal "Is dormant, it Is not
dead."
Pinelands Act foe, township
Mayor Frank Murphy, also
urged Ma constituency to fight
the measure. After the
meeting some 30 residents
volunteered to form a committee
that would Join CLIC.
According to CLIC
President Larry Mail, "We
want to Inform the people of
the impact of the land-use
controls (Pinelands,
Wetlands) will have on our
lives, and also provide a
medium in which individual
citizens can combat overregulation
by InfluincingOUT
elected officials on the state
level.

with the grapes for several days. White wine is the
product of fermentation without the skins.
Generic whites are named, for the most part, after the
wine districts in Europe from which they originally came.
Rhine wine Is considered to be the lightest and most
crisply favored of the whites, whereas Chablis fends fo be
fuller bodied and more richly flavored.
The varietal wines are most often mad» to taste like the
grapes after which they are named. The laws In wine
producing states and countries usually requires each
varietal wine to have a certain volume of the grape after
which it Is named. In California, for example, varietal •
wines must contain no less than II percent of the named
grape,
A Rose wine Is the bridge between the whites and reds
with the vintner starting fermentation of the juice in contact
with the grape skin and seeds. As soon as the fermenfafion
attains a pink hue, It is separated from the solids
and treated as a white wine for the remainder of its aging
In the winery.

Raspberry Parfait Pudding
To make six servings, dissolve 1 (3-oz.) package of
raspberry-flavored gilatin in ivsi cups hot water. Add 3'
fblspns. orange flavored llquer and Vi fspn. grated orange
peel. Gradually stir In 1 pt. vanilla ice eream, blending
until If melts. Chill until mixture begins to thicken, then
stir well and spoon Into £ stemmed glasses or dessert
dishes; chill until firm. Serve topped with whipped cream

sightings, hawk watch
