LINE 1150: This line is used to empty 'he the buffer.
Sometimes, when you enter data rapidly, there is
information retained in the buffer that you haven't ' t
accessed. If you don't ' t clear it out then the next
time you call the routine, ,he the old unused data will
be entered in response '0 to 'he the GET command before
you have a chance to use your own input.
LINE 1160: This re,urns returns control to the main body
of the e program at line 110. 2 may enter a single leller. letter, a word, word. or the complete text to be decoded. The Tne compuler

will respond by displaying the corresponding deciphered leller. letter, word, . or lex!.

The program will permit user '-I f\ to create an encoded message which he may mail or transmit to user 112, §2, assuming both userss have access to the cryptogram program. The code
number should also be included with the message in order to permit user n #2 to have his computer decode the message it if he encounters difficulty.
