4279 Payment terms type code qualifier
Code qualifying the type of payment terms.
2 = End of month
Payments are due at end of month.
GS1 Description:
Payment terms are at the end of the current month.
3 = Fixed date
4 = Deferred
Payments are due on the fixed date specified.
Payments are deferred beyond the normal due date.
5 = Discount not applicable
6 = Mixed
7 = Extended
Payment terms on which discounts are not applicable.
GS1 Description:
Discount is not applicable to the payment terms.
Different payment terms negotiated under a documentary credit.
Payment is extended beyond the normal due date.
8 = Basic discount offered
9 = Proximo
10 = Instant
11 = Elective
Payment terms reflect the basic offered discount.
Occurring in the next month after present.
Payment is due on receipt of invoice.
Payment terms to be chosen by buyer (from options separately
advised).
12 = 10 days after end of month
Payment due ten days after end of a calendar month.
18 = Previously agreed upon
Payment terms have been previously agreed upon.
20 = Penalty terms
Payment terms on which penalties apply.
GS1 Description:
Penalty terms applied when payer exceeds normal payment
terms.
21 = Payment by instalment
22 = Discount
