7065 Package type description <strong>code</strong><br />

Code specifying the type of package.<br />

Notes:<br />

1. Recommend use UN/ECE Recommendation No. 21 (also, see current volume of<br />

UNTDED).<br />

++ WRP = Wrapper (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

Wrapping e.g. for an individually packed ice cream.<br />

+ X10 = Tub with lid (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A small, usually plastic, container with a lid for food, e.g. ice<br />

cream.<br />

+ X11 = Banded package (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A package with bands, usually metal or nylon, round it to hold the<br />

products together.<br />

+ X12 = Cardboard package with grip holes for bottles (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

+ X14 = Card (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

Cardboard package with a number of holes. Each hole is to be<br />

gripped tightly around the neck of a bottle.<br />

A flat package usually made of fibreboard from/to which the<br />

product is often hung or attached.<br />

+ X3 = Standard stack of stones (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

Standard stack of stones.<br />

+ X9 = Pallet 100 X 110 cm (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

Pallet with dimensions 100 X 110 cm.<br />

7073 Packaging terms and conditions <strong>code</strong><br />

Code specifying the packaging terms and conditions.<br />

1 = Packaging cost paid by supplier<br />

The cost of packaging is paid by the supplier.<br />

2 = Packaging cost paid by recipient<br />

The cost of packaging is paid by the recipient.<br />

3 = Packaging cost not charged (returnable)<br />

@ 25 = Safe return deposit<br />

@ 26 = Not reusable<br />

There is no charge for packaging because it is returnable.<br />

A deposit paid to guarantee the safe return of the package.<br />

The package is not reusable.<br />

<strong>GS1</strong> Description:<br />

The equipment may only be used once and is not reusable for the<br />

purpose for which it was designed.<br />

@ 27 = Package exchangeable at the point of delivery<br />

The package may be exchanged at the point of delivery.<br />

= Unpack from (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

Code identifying that goods should be unpacked from the<br />

identified package.<br />
