Code specifying the type of product group.<br />

2 = No price group used<br />

3 = Catalogue<br />

Code specifying that the product is not subject to price group.<br />

Code specifying that the product is indexed in a catalogue.<br />

4 = Group of products with same price<br />

Code specifying that all the products of the group have the same<br />

price.<br />

9 = No group used<br />

No grouping is being used.<br />

10 = Price group<br />

Products grouped together on the basis of price.<br />

11 = Product group<br />

A <strong>code</strong> indicating a product group.<br />

@ 12 = Promotional group<br />

Grouping of products for promotional reasons.<br />

<strong>GS1</strong> Description:<br />

Grouping of products which have special price conditions during<br />

a defined period of time.<br />

++ 14 = Geographical target market division/subdivision <strong>code</strong><br />

The target market is a geographical region based upon<br />

geographical boundaries sanctioned by the United Nations.<br />

= Group of complementary products (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A group of products which when put together forms a finished<br />

item, e.g. a plate can be sold individually but can be put together<br />

with knives, forks, cups, etc, to form a dinner service.<br />

+ BAG = Base article group (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A group of articles containing information related to one or more<br />

base articles in a Customer Specific Articles configuration.<br />

+ BAX = Base article execution rules group (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A grouping of a number of execution rules related to one or more<br />

base articles.<br />

++ BEX = GTIN allocation group for special purposes (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A grouping in order to allocate a GTIN to certain a configuration<br />

for special purposes (e.g. configuration software) within a<br />

Customer Specific Articles configuration.<br />

++ DEF = Definition Group (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A group of objects (1. option values, 2. parameters and 3. predefined<br />

options) needed in a Customer Specific Articles (CSA)<br />

configuration. In this group the CSA objects are defined for those<br />

objects which are used in the base article configuration group.<br />

++ MUL = Metadata linked to multi-media objects group (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A group containing metadata linked to multi-media objects, i.e. a<br />

URL to a multi media object, name and description of the<br />

multimedia object<br />

++ PAX = Price allocation group (<strong>GS1</strong> Code)<br />

A grouping in order to allocate price(s) to certain configurations<br />

within a Customer Specific Articles configuration.<br />
