Final Farewell Wade Alan Hanson Wade Alan Hanson was born in Mobridge, South Dakota to Roger and Judy Hanson on October 8, 1965. He attended school in Pollock, SD and was baptized and confirmed at Pollock Lutheran Church. His upbringing with his siblings, Troy and LaNae, was amongst the best people God ever made. Cancer ended his mortal life early, but his eternal life continues in heaven! One day soon he shall see you again. God is good. Many blessings filled his years including meeting his precious wife, Sandra, in college. They were married in 1989. Wade was also blessed with a father and mother-in-law, Jim and Jolene Mitzel, who have provided love and support whenever needed. They were blessed with triplets, Taylor, Davis and Alexis in 1993. God sent James to them in 2004 when they adopted him from Kazakhstan. While there, God introduced them to Jacob and he joined the family in 2005. There has been no earthly joy greater to Wade than his wonderful family! He went to work for Lintex Corporation (now Encompass Group), a distributor of healthcare supplies, in 1988. It is the only company he ever worked for. Wade’s co-workers supported the family through many good years and throughout the battle with cancer. Many great people and dear 30 • www.herefordamerica.com HEREFORD AMERICA • January 2008 friends are employed by this company. Wade’s faith in Jesus has been maturing for many years. As he aged and dealt with mortality, it is very apparent that faith in Jesus is the only thing in life that truly matters. “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26 In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to: “Holy Cross Lutheran Church Adoption fund,” Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1200 Foxfire Dr., College Station, TX 77845 or the “Hanson Kids Scholarship fund” at First Star Bank in Franklin Texas, First Star Bank, PO Box 937, Franklin, TX 77856, 979-828-4168.
