Chicago. I’m sure if you ask him he<br />
can tell you exactly how he placed and<br />
also the placing of the entire team. Also,<br />
in his 4-H years he showed a <strong>Hereford</strong><br />
steer in Denver. The only means of<br />
transportation was by train. Can you<br />
imagine traveling all the way to Denver<br />
with you and your steer in a box car?<br />
He remembers it was a very cold trip.<br />
However, the trip was not in vain as he<br />
captured the reserve Grand Champion<br />
showmanship award that year.<br />
He loves and is very dedicated to the<br />
<strong>Hereford</strong> breed. His spouse, Delores<br />
mentioned that his first love was his<br />
<strong>Hereford</strong> Cattle, and she came second.<br />
However, she mentioned they have<br />
been married for 50 years so she knows<br />
she is also loved.<br />
