The final meeting of the Literacy/Arts program was held at Table Cape<br />
Primary School in early December. This group has worked hard to improve<br />
educational outcomes for local indigenous students over the past three years.<br />
Projects have focussed on the Tommeginer people with several exhibitions<br />
being held over this time.<br />
Planning has commenced to offer the Community Recreation Leaders Award<br />
in April <strong>2009</strong>. The program is of an introductory nature and equips<br />
participants to deliver a variety of recreational programs. Several <strong>Council</strong><br />
facilities will be used as training venues.<br />
