17.1 Construction of Residential
Quarters and Hostel Units without
Demand
Despite incurring Rs. 9.32 crore on construction
of residential quarters and hostels, the National
Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting
could not allot these quarters as there was no
demand for them.
17.2 Avoidable Expenditure due to
Contracting of Higher Load
load from 285KW to 150KW for electricity
consumption resulted in avoidable expenditure
of Rs. 51.76 lakh between August 2004 and
March 2007.
