Description Stems green maturing to light maroon; flowers 10cm in<br />

diameter, fragrant, reflexing; petals pale lilac on both surfaces;<br />

sepals green on abaxial surface with 5mm long light maroon<br />

claw-like awn; adaxial surface green/off-white; two rows of offwhite<br />

outer corona filaments 6.5cm in diameter; inner corona<br />

filaments dark lilac; androgynophore and anther filaments green<br />

with light maroon speckling, some pollen present on anthers;<br />

styles green with dark maroon speckles; leaves 3 to 5-lobed, up<br />

to 11.5cm long x 17cm wide; petiole 4cm; 4-8 petiole glands,<br />

2mm long in staggered pairs; peduncle up to 8cm; bracts 2cm x<br />

1cm; stipules 4cm x 2cm with 3-4mm awns. Minimum<br />

temperature probably -5°C. Flowering period June to<br />

November. Named after Linda Grover, a friend of the breeder.<br />

The female parent is a tetraploid hybrid of P. caerulea<br />

‘Constance Eliott' and P. eichleriana. The male parent is a<br />

hybrid of P. 'Purple Haze' and P. loefgrenii 'Corupa'.
