'Albert' Originator Rosali Ziller (Germany) Parentage P. coriacea (♀) × P. megacoriacea (♂) Description Stem round; flowers 4cm in diameter, no fragrance; petals absent; sepals cream-white with green border on adaxial surface, green on abaxial surface; outer filaments 1cm, yellow at apex, green/brown mottled at base; inner filaments 0.3cm, creamwhite at apex, green at base; peduncle 0.3cm; leaves 2-3 lobed, variegated, unserrated, up to 9cm x 18 cm; bracts tiny; stipules 0.2cm x 0.05cm; petiole 3 - 5cm with 2 petiole glands. First flowered September 2009. Probably flowering throughout the year. Minimum temperature unknown. Name derives from that of breeder’s husband.

'Twisted Sister' Originator Vicki Townsend (USA) Parentage P. ‘Temptation’ (♀) × P. ‘Byron Beauty’ (♂) Description Stem round; flowers 11 - 12.5cm in diameter, fragrant; petals lavender; sepals green on abaxial surface, pale lavender on adaxial surface; outer filaments purple, purple/white banded at base; peduncle 4.0cm; leaves deeply 3-lobed, 15-18 x 19-24cm; bracts 2.0cm; stipules 0.5cm; petiole 5.5-6.5cm with 2 petiole glands. Flowering period April to October. More vigorous than either parent. Minimum temperature 0C. The female parent is a tetraploid hybrid of P. cincinnata and P. incarnata; the male parent is a complex tetraploid hybrid of P. edulis and P .incarnata. Similar parentage to P. ‘Manapany’.
