Parentage P. incarnata 'Lorayne' (♀) × P. kermesina (♂)<br />

Description Stem round, red; floriferous; flowers up to 10 cm in diameter,<br />

light fragrance; sepals 4.6 x 1.5cm, slightly keeled, with 0.2cm<br />

awn, adaxial surface dark magenta, abaxial surface reddishbrown;<br />

petals 4.6 x 1.2cm, both surfaces dark magenta; corona<br />

filaments 7.5cm in diameter, several inner shorter rows purple,<br />

two outer short rows violet, two long outer rows banded<br />

white/violet; bracts 0.5-0.8cm x 0.4-0.7cm, reddish-green with<br />

0.2cm awn, irregularly distributed on the peduncle, 0.7-4.5 cm<br />

from the base of the bud; floral tube 0.6-1.2cm; leaves threelobed,<br />

serrated, 7-10 x 9.5-14.5cm; petiole reddish 2.2-2.5cm<br />

with one pair of glands about 0.6 cm from leaf base; stipules<br />

filamentous, serrated, 0.6 x 0.1cm. First flowered in 2007.<br />

Minimum temperature 7C. Named after Holly Golightly, the<br />

main character in the film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's’. Similar<br />

parentage to P. ‘Tiffani’.
