Experience Summary:<br />
John is an Industrial Engineer with over twenty years of industry experience<br />
specialising in Innovation Programmes, Operations Development and R&D<br />
programmes. He has many years experience at Operations, Production and<br />
General Manager Level with both large multi-nationals and indigenous Irish<br />
organisations.<br />
• John has extensive experience supporting companies, as a core focus,<br />
to develop products, processes and services that will strategically<br />
develop the company.<br />
• Has worked as a project manager for a large R&D project and<br />
successfully brought the new product to product launch stage.<br />
• As part of the Innovation & R&D programmes from Enterprise Ireland,<br />
John has being instrumental in moving his companies up the value chain<br />
in their strategic approach and in most cases this has led to new product<br />
or process developments.<br />
• Assisted companies to develop strategic business plans for the<br />
commercialisation of R&D projects.<br />
• Has assisted many companies through Innovation & R&D programmes<br />
leading to the evaluation and selection of strategic R&D projects and his<br />
work has also involved R&D grant applications and R&D project support<br />
for a range of companies.<br />
• Has extensive knowledge in software support tools such as MRP/ERP<br />
systems, and has successfully supported many companies to specify,<br />
select and install business management software solutions for their<br />
business.<br />
• In working with these companies John gives due focus to commercial<br />
reality including Return on Investment (ROI), risk assessments,<br />
budgeting, cash flow projections, project planning, sales and distribution<br />
strategy.<br />
• Extensive Project Management experience of both e-business programs<br />
and live manufacturing projects with full responsibility for budgets,<br />
allocations, spending, scheduling and direct customer interfacing.<br />
• A strong change agent with a proven track record of achieving results.
