1970-71 was a successful year at
W.H.S. thanks to the many efforts of
the administration. Many times Mr.
Fraser, our superintendent and Mr.
Pillen and Mr. Brownf ield, our principal
and assistant principal have
walked, talked and learned right
along with the students. They have
helped us, guided us, and disciplined
us when we needed it.
Working with our administration, the
school board helped bring important
changes into the school. One such
change enjoyed by the student body
was the relaxation of the dress code.
Our guidance counselor, Mr. Balsis,
offered valuable advice to our students
concerning their courses of
study and their futures.
Mrs. Jackson, the high school secretary
and Mrs. Holtschult, the superintendent's
secretary, assisted tremendously
in making the year run
smoothly.
