<strong>The</strong> book is <strong>the</strong> initial publication <strong>of</strong> a new publishing company, <strong>the</strong> Tamarind<br />

Press, which proposes to publish several o<strong>the</strong>r works about Burma. If <strong>the</strong>y are <strong>of</strong> such<br />

caliber as this, <strong>the</strong>y will help to fill a void.<br />
